— where trauma meets truth, and wisdom becomes embodied.

The Body Philosophy is a way of remembering and a path to living what your body already knows.

Here, we weave ancient wisdom, scientific principles, and embodiment practices to create sustainable change.

Let’s walk together — Whether you’re in grief or growth, disconnection or deep transformation — we want to honor that sacred space with you.

Alicia Michelle, Founder of The Body Philosophy

Hi, I’m Alicia Michelle - a soul-rooted woman, guide, and teacher of embodiment.

For most of my life, I lived from the neck up.
Disconnected from my body.
Spiritually inclined, but physically disoriented.
Smart, insightful — but exhausted, reactive, unsure how to feel safe in my skin.

The healing came not in another intellectual breakthrough — but in learning how to live in my body and feel. To stop leaving my body behind.

The Body Philosophy was born from my own return: a path of grief, grace, and fierce self-trust. I now walk with others as they remember who they are - from the inside out.

Together, we honor the pain, the presence, the breath, and the slow rebuilding of trust. Because healing isn’t just what you do. It’s who you become.

What I believe:

Your body is not a problem to fix. It’s a compass, a teacher, a vessel of sacred memory.

Your trauma is real. And, so is your resilience and your right to joy.

Healing is not a destination. It’s a daily choice to return - gently, honestly, with compassion.

You are not behind. You are preciously where your truth is waiting to meet you.
